Each Studio Team Session is photographed by Olivia and artistically edited by me, Elisabeth Eden, to ensure your final images carry the same look you love. Whether you’re booking a milestone session for your little one or full family photos in our Fargo studio, you can expect the same beautiful light, warmth, and artistry that Petite Portraits is known for.

Meet Olivia — Our Studio Photographer

Olivia has been part of the Petite Portraits family behind the scenes for a while now. She’s photographed my own family (and a few of yours!), and her warmth, patience, and ability to make everyone feel comfortable instantly made her the perfect fit for this next chapter.

We sat down for a fun little Q&A so you can get to know her better:

Q: What’s something every parent shouldn’t stress about before a photo session?

“Their child perfectly cooperating and smiling right at the camera! I promise, as we get comfortable and keep the experience positive and fun, we’ll get better results than stressing about them looking perfect in every shot.”

Q: If you could bottle up one feeling from your favorite shoot day, what would it be?

“The feelings of connection and joy that comes from watching kids be free to be themselves. And the giggles!”

Q: You have five kids — what’s your real-life photo day survival kit?

“When I’m prepared, I pack safety pins, hairspray for flyaways, and a snack that’s not messy for right before.”

Q: Which Disney or Pixar character do you secretly relate to most?

“I’ve always loved Belle, but Rapunzel from Tangled sums up my multi-passionate personality pretty well!”

Q: If your camera could talk, what would it say about you?

“That I need to pull it out to take more pictures of my kids! I’m not the best at using my camera outside of shoots and I wish I did it more than just using my phone.”

If you’ve been in front of my camera before, you already know how much I love working with families!

When I first met Olivia, I immediately sensed her calm, steady warmth that puts everyone at ease within minutes (which, if you’ve ever tried taking photos with kids, you know is a superpower).
